What is good make-up for light brown eyes and an olive complexion?
I also have dark almost black hair. So what are good colors and combinations. I like to play around with make-up too.

Eyes are considered the most affective part of body; it is also called the truth teller of heart. Whenever you go to any party the most important thing that matters are eye makeup and here are some eye makeups that can increase the beauty of eyes.
For a dreamy look
Dreamy eyes always signaled romantic ideas of the person. To get the perfect eye make up first, outline your eyebrows in the shape of a complete arch. If your eyes don’t have natural eye colors of light blue, light green, light brown or light yellow, you can take the help of contact lenses for a dreamy look. If you are a light colored person apply light pink color eye shadow around your eyelid. If your complexion is dark, apply dark cream eye shadow around your eyelid. You can apply the darker shade of the eye shadow on your under brows. Clearly draw a line around your eyes with the line extending a little from the corner of the eye.
Natural eye make up look
Natural eye shadows typically come in single color or in some special color-coordinated combinations. You can find that color is pigmented and that will match your eye shape, size and color. Before applying your eye shadow, remember to sweep the lightest shade and first over the entire area from the lash line up to the brow. This will hold the color for longer time and also prevent creasing.
Two-color design:
The goal to get this design is to apply a lighter eye shadow color to the lid area but deeper color in the crease slightly blending it upward. Apply the lighter color to the entire lid as it will make your lid look larger and brighter thus creating a rested appearance.
Three-color design:
The lid and under-brow colors are softer and less intense than the color at the back corner of the lid in this design. You can use some other effective colors such as deep shade of brown, charcoal, cedar, mahogany, sable, red-brown, slate, chocolate brown, camel, deep taupe, eggplant, or even black.
