How would you define color regarding design? how would designers define it as? …Thanks a lot for your help! =]
Colour is quite powerful in that is can evoke a mood or emotion in the viewer. The other thing to note is that certain colours are often associated with different things.

This article is interesting to read as it lists some of the traits certain colours can mean.
Colours can also be culture specific as well, this is critcal to keep in mind when designing for different cultures. A great example is weddings. In western society white is the preferred colour, but in China and other parts of Asia, this would be inappropriate.
