Lipstick Cinnamon
Should I wear lip color every day to school?
I wear a small amount of makeup to school every day, and I just started wearing Cover Girl Outlast Lip Color. I’m African American, so I have a dark brown shade (cinnamon) that goes great with my skin tone.
Now that I’ve become used to it, I’m kind of addicted to it. I used to alternate between that and a lip gloss, and now I just wear the lip color, mostly because it’s more dramatic looking and lasts A LOT longer. But I wonder if it looks like I’m wearing too much when I have it on, or if I look too “done”. I notice very few girls wear lipstick or lip color to school. They wear clear or pinkish lip gloss.
So should I stand out and wear the lip color, or do I need to tone it down to look more natural?
If you don’t wear alot of eye make-up (maybe just mascara) of course you can get away with it!
The mistake people make is wearing a ton of eyeliner, mascara, shadow, highlighter, blusher & then a really bold lip shade.
But the dark shade sounds gorgeous
