Tahoe Make-Up

you look so peaceful and warm
with ur head upon that pillow
as i watch the minutes pass by
turning into hours my mind
falls into a deep bliss as every thought
goes sour i say why can’t i sleep why is it like this

it is this sickness that worries me
every night i lay awake wondering why it had to be
me that has to worry and lay awake

i only wish i could get a glimpse of what im missing
if i could just fall asleep i know i wouldn’t be so twisted
please tell me dear how do u dream of something so sweet
when all i know to do is sit here and wish i could get some sleep
